Madison 21 1/2 weeks
So...I'm a little behind and have been meaning to get this up here for a week. Here is an ultrasound picture from Sunday, August 31st. I had a weird pain on my right side that lasted 6 hours (all night long) and it would not go away so we got worried enough to take our first visit to the hospital. They checked me and Madison and everything was fine! (thank goodness)! Still not sure what the pain was but they gave me some meds that seemed to do the trick. But we did get this ultrasound picture out of the experience! (We were at Willis Knighton in Labor & Delivery A while Ashley was in Labor & Delivery 6 having Eli! We created a huge commotion on the floor sending people back and forth from room to room to check on Ashley and I!!)!!!Anyways...I thought this was a good profile picture of her! I love it! We are 23 weeks today and have a doctors appointment tomorrow!

A Big Week
We started our week (last week) at the American Idol Concert...which was wonderful! When the loud music started so did Madison's kicking! Not sure she knew what to think about all the loud noise! Here are a couple of our favorite performances!!

Around 11:52am on Sunday we welcomed our new nephew Eli Anderson Stuart (our best friends Ashley & Tim Stuart's second son). He was 6 lbs. 1 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. He is precious and we can't wait for Maddie and him to play! Jerrad has already given Eli the "talk" regarding the rules for hanging out with his daughter! For now...they are just cousins...but there could be a marriage in the works! ;)

Then we went to the LA Tech game Saturday Night. We played Mississippi State and were expected to get beat. We won! It was a great game and we really enjoyed going! (Thanks My Lord the King! :) )

Madison Presley Edmonds

Here are a couple of pictures like I promised. These are all from the doctors appointment yesterday. (19 weeks) We ended up with a lot of pictures because sweet Madison was being a bit stubborn and not wanting to move the right way to show us what she was. Jerrad said that she is already taking after her mother!! ;) We were in with the first ultrasound tech for about 30-40 minutes. She took a lot of measurements and then got down to what we were really there for...the gender! The baby was all curled up in a little ball with no plans of moving. The ultrasound tech poked and moved my stomach, made me get up and go use the bathroom and move a little bit and nothing seemed to get the baby moving. After all the time we spent in there she finally sent us to see the doctor and told us we could come back in a week to find out what the baby was! NO! So we asked her very nicely if we could try again after we saw the doctor and she agreed! So we saw the doctor and he said everything looked great and the baby was doing very well. He sent us back to the ultrasound area and this time we tried a new tech and a new room (for luck...I guess)! She tried for about 15 minutes with no luck. Baby was still curled into a little ball with the legs tucked under the body. I finally layed on my side and she pushed and moved enough where she could verify that is was a girl. (Both the ultrasound ladies thought it was a girl! And they were right.)
So we finally know we are having a baby girl...Madison Presley! (Maddie for short)
We go to the doctor again in 4 weeks. Due date is still January 7, 2009. Everyone is making bets on when they think she will arrive. We are going for December 28-30, so we can get the tax break! We'll see....
